This position offers a fantastic opportunity for progression within a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly contribute to the broader objectives of Florida's Department of Transportation (FDOT). As a Senior Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and efficiency of transportation projects, aligning with state and federal regulations. Additionally, this position will give you the opportunity for fast track progression into an Assistant Project Administrator or Project Administrator position within the next 3 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections ensuring compliance with FDOT standards, focusing on both the technical and safety aspects of transportation infrastructure.
- Provide detailed reports and feedback that influence project outcomes, making strategic recommendations to enhance construction processes and results.
- Mentor and guide junior inspectors, enhancing team capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the department.
Skills Required:
- CEI: Proficient in Construction Engineering Inspection with an ability to oversee transportation projects effectively, ensuring all phases of construction meet or exceed the rigorous standards set forth by relevant authorities.
- Inspection: Extensive experience in conducting thorough and accurate inspections, maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the integrity of the construction process.
