Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Position Overview: As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing electrical systems for our diverse range of projects. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team, project managers, and clients to ensure the successful integration of electrical components and systems. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the technical aspects of our projects, from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical design process for system integration projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD software.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, software, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for electrical design solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
  • Review and approve design documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our design processes.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on system integration.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) and electrical design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
