Land Development Professional Engineer
A well-established and fast-growing civil engineering firm headquartered just outside downtown Orlando is looking for a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to step into a key leadership role within their land development division.

About the Role:
You'll work closely with leadership on complex land development projects ranging from commercial sites to 100-acre community plans. The ideal candidate will be ready to take ownership of projects, mentor junior engineers, and serve as a technical leader within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle land development projects: site layout, grading, utilities, permitting, and stormwater systems
- Design and review plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and ICPR
- Collaborate with surveyors, planners, and clients to drive projects forward
- Lead project teams and mentor junior staff
- Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Coordinate with local municipalities and utility providers for permitting and approvals
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida (or ability to obtain quickly)
- 5-15 years of experience in civil/site/land development
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
- Experience with stormwater modeling and ICPR (strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
