Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Geotechnical Vice President to join our executive team in Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and a strong background in leadership and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the geotechnical division.
- Oversee the development and implementation of geotechnical projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and mentor senior geotechnical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Develop and maintain high-level client relationships, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other executives to support company-wide initiatives and strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.
- Prepare and present executive reports, proposals, and strategic plans to the board of directors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or PhD preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with significant experience in executive leadership roles.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong strategic planning and business development abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and driving business growth.
- In-depth knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, practices, and software.
