Water Systems Project Manager
Introduction
Our client, a civil engineering company in Kansas City, is looking for a Water Systems Project Manager to join their team. They are looking for a candidate who has at least 8 years of experience in either a Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the technical work and ensuring project needs are met. They will also be responsible for networking with existing clients to help develop new business opportunities. Our client offers a hybrid policy which allows for 3 days working from home.
Responsibilities
The Water Systems Project Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Manage the technical work and ensure project needs are met.
- Develop new business opportunities by networking with existing clients.
- Ensure that the project is completed on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.
- Manage a team of engineers and technical staff.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Prepare project reports and presentations.
Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Professional Engineering License
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical skills in water systems engineering.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
