Water/ Water Resources Project Manager
Location: Indiana
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage water resources projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. Design and implement advanced stormwater management systems to mitigate urban flooding and enhance water quality.
Conduct detailed hydrological and hydraulic analyses to support the design and implementation of water management systems, including river restoration projects to improve natural habitats and water flow.
Develop innovative designs for stormwater management, flood control, and water supply systems to provide sustainable water solutions for urban growth.
Perform environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, designing flood control measures to protect communities from extreme weather events.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental scientists, urban planners, and construction managers, to deliver integrated water resource solutions.
Integrate green infrastructure techniques such as rain gardens and permeable pavements into urban planning projects.
Engage with local communities and stakeholders to gather input and provide updates on project progress.
Prepare comprehensive technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Demonstrated experience in water resources engineering with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in hydrological modeling software and CAD tools.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
