- 6 or more years of experience, preferably in wastewater engineering
- Must be a registered Professional Engineer
Responsibilities
- As a Project Water/Wastewater Engineer, you will serve as project manager on large projects, prepare planning and design documents, and process design calculations
- The project engineer supervises, coordinates, and reviews work of engineers or technicians and performs complex assignments that require development of new and improved techniques and procedures
- You will also coordinate with otherteams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients
- Types of wastewater projects typically include piping extensions and rehabilitation, new pump stations and rehabilitation, treatment plant rehabilitation for various types of treatment processes, and new treatment plant projects
- Travel may be needed to job sites for observation in all types of terrain and weather conditions, as well as project sites in various stages of construction
