Job Title: Water/Wastewater Regional Technical Lead

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water/Wastewater Regional Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in water and wastewater projects within their designated region. The Regional Technical Lead will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet project requirements and exceed client expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage water and wastewater projects within the assigned region from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities and systems.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and evaluations to identify project requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and project managers to develop comprehensive project plans and strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing technical inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct technical reviews, analyses, and evaluations of project designs, specifications, and performance metrics to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in water and wastewater treatment to continuously improve project outcomes and deliver innovative solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior technical staff, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development and enhance team capabilities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering successful outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, regulations, and standards.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
