The client are seeking a motivated and experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join their team. As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of wastewater and water quality projects. You will lead multi-disciplinary project teams, collaborate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of projects that protect and enhance the environment and public health.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage wastewater and water quality projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and technical specialists, to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
- Foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Mentor and develop junior staff members.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wastewater and water quality engineering and project management.
- Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, water quality modeling, and environmental regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Business development and client management experience is a plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, and other relevant software is preferred.
