Project Manager - Water and Wastewater Infrastructure
Overview:
Our client is a leading environmental engineering firm specializing in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 7-15 years of experience to lead the delivery of pipeline and pump station infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be a strategic, action-oriented leader who plays a key role in managing, planning, and delivering high-quality infrastructure projects from conception through completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines and pump stations.
- Oversee the engineering planning and design processes, ensuring that project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Prepare and review detailed reports, technical memoranda, and electronic deliverables.
- Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Lead project teams, coordinating with engineers and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Conduct system modeling, permitting, and alternative analysis to ensure the projects meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
- Ensure successful project delivery, while managing client relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Provide engineering services during construction and participate in field activities as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- 7-15 years of directly relevant experience in water and wastewater infrastructure engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in good standing.
- Proven experience leading water and wastewater infrastructure projects, from planning through construction.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expertise in engineering principles, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams, driving positive outcomes and maintaining strong relationships.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and professional.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and engineering-related software tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
