About The Client:

They are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Northern Virginia team and play a key role in the design and management of outside-the-fence conveyance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and analyze water and wastewater conveyance systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
- Develop engineering designs, specifications, and technical reports in compliance with client and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surveyors, environmental specialists, and construction professionals, to deliver seamless project execution.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and system performance analysis to develop optimized design solutions.
- Provide technical support during construction, including submittal reviews and responding to RFIs.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 3-7 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, with a focus on outside-the-fence conveyance design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia required or ability to obtain within 6-12 months.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., InfoWater, H2OMap, or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to water and wastewater infrastructure in Virginia.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
