Water Resources Project Manager
Location: Denver, CO
Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000
Role Overview:
As a Water Resources Project Manager, you'll lead and oversee projects aimed at water conservation, flood control, and sustainable development. You'll work closely with engineers, environmental scientists, and local stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead water resource projects from planning through execution, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, environmental scientists, and construction crews.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and keeping them informed on project progress.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency without compromising quality.
- Compliance & Permitting: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, securing necessary permits and approvals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, including detailed reports on project status, budget, and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in water resources management or related projects.
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of water resources, including hydrology, hydraulics, and water quality management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
