Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Water Resource Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join our team in a hybrid role based in Iowa. You will play a key part in designing and managing water resource projects, ensuring sustainable solutions for flood control, stormwater management, and water quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Design: Develop and design water resource systems, including stormwater, flood control, and drainage solutions.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, data analysis, and environmental impact assessments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
- Client Collaboration: Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide technical expertise and project updates.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior engineers and project teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in water resource engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
- Strong understanding of water resource regulations and environmental compliance.
