Job Opportunity: Water Resources Engineer
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Salary: $86=5,000 to $135,000 (depending on skills and experience)
Our client, a reputable and innovative engineering firm, is seeking a talented Water Resources Engineer to join their growing team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on a wide range of impactful projects in the field of drainage systems, stormwater management (SWM), and erosion and sediment control (ESC). Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with an EIT; Maryland Registered PE preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required; Master's degree (MSCE) a plus
- Proficiency in MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads preferred
- Familiarity with InRoads Storm and Sanitary, WinTR-20, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, TR-55, and HY-8 is a plus
- Experience with MDE and MDOT agency SWM and ESC review and permitting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and design open and closed drainage systems
- Prepare pipe profiles, structure schedules, and SWM quantity and quality analysis and treatment designs
- Design SWM structural and ESD BMP facilities
- Prepare SWM and ESC milestone submissions for agency review and secure permits
- Complete and compile technical reports
- Coordinate with various project sections, including roadway, environmental, structures, surveys, and utilities
- Prepare cost estimates and specifications
- Liaise with clients and coordinate project efforts
