Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage water resources projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. You'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge stormwater management systems to reduce urban flooding and improve water quality.
- Conduct detailed hydrological and hydraulic analyses to support the design and implementation of water management systems. This includes leading river restoration projects aimed at enhancing natural habitats and improving water flow.
- Create innovative designs for stormwater management, flood control, and water supply systems. You'll develop sustainable water supply solutions for growing urban areas, ensuring reliable access to clean water.
- Perform environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You'll design flood control measures to protect communities from extreme weather events and rising water levels.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental scientists, urban planners, and construction managers, to deliver integrated solutions. You'll integrate green infrastructure solutions, such as rain gardens and permeable pavements, into urban planning projects.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders to gather input and provide updates on project progress.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Proven experience in water resources engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in hydrological modeling software and CAD tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
