Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering Design: Develop detailed designs for pump stations, water treatment facilities, and distribution networks using the latest engineering software.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all projects align with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including environmental scientists, construction managers, and regulatory bodies.
- Project Leadership: Oversee water facility projects, from initial planning through execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in water facilities engineering, with a focus on pump stations.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterCAD).
- Extensive knowledge of water treatment processes, pump station design, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
