Job Title: VP of Construction
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Salary Range: $180,000-$200,000

A leading Real Estate Development firm is seeking a VP of Construction to join their team in Colorado Springs. Specializing in the construction and management of high-quality rental communities across the United States, the company has grown to become a leading player in the multifamily housing sector, with a focus on delivering best-in-class living experiences in desirable urban and suburban markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Single-Family Residential construction teams as a standalone division, with accountability for P&L, overhead, and business operations.
- Oversee project cost management, schedule compliance, and quality control using reporting systems.
- Provide leadership throughout all development phases, including preconstruction and construction.
- Manage the bidding process, subcontractor selection, and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure all construction operations comply with licensing and insurance requirements.
- Collaborate with property management to ensure a smooth, high-quality product turnover.
- Offer expertise in construction procedures, building codes, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Business Management (equivalent experience considered).
- At least 10 years of construction experience, including business operations and preconstruction.
- Strong background in construction and residential property development.
- Experience managing P&L and leading 4-6 direct reports while overseeing multiple projects.
- Expertise in estimating, purchasing, and managing complex construction projects.
