VP of Community Solar Acquisition
A leading clean power company is seeking a VP of Community Solar Acquisition.
Job Summary: The VP of Community Solar Acquisition will manage third-party acquisition contracts and ensure all community solar gardens are fully subscribed. This role involves developing acquisition plans, managing broker relationships, and optimizing sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee contracts and management of third-party acquisition companies.
- Ensure all community solar gardens are fully subscribed.
- Develop acquisition plans with the VP of Revenue Operations and the Origination team.
- Create and implement a multi-channel residential customer acquisition strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with large employers, C-level clients, and strategic partners.
- Identify and sign corporate partners as "anchor tenants" for the community solar portfolio.
- Manage the "anchor tenant" RFP process.
- Expand the "community solar as a benefit" program with existing corporate clients.
- Explore additional partnership opportunities and community engagement.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Proven track record in leading high-performing customer acquisition teams.
- Deep understanding of customer acquisition strategies and tactics.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in building and managing budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
