Job Summary: Vice President - Water/Wastewater Practice Lead will be responsible for the strategic leadership, growth, and management of the Water/Wastewater division. This high-level role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to oversee large-scale projects, foster client relationships, and guide a team of skilled engineers and professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision and business plan for the Water/Wastewater practice.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive growth and market expansion.
- Align practice goals with overall company strategy in collaboration with executive leadership.
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater projects.
- Ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project delivery.
- Manage project risks and resolve issues to ensure successful outcomes.
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Lead business development efforts, including proposal writing, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Serve as the primary contact for major clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on complex water and wastewater engineering projects.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Advocate for innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technical staff.

Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the practice's budget, ensuring financial targets are met.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale water/wastewater projects and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong business development and client management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
Preferred Skills:
