Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Superintendent to oversee our mass excavation and earthwork projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects and the ability to lead a crew. This role requires extensive travel across the southern United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all site activities related to mass excavation and earthwork projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and lead a crew, ensuring efficient and effective work practices.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of the project.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mass excavation and earthwork projects.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a crew.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to travel extensively across the southern United States.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
