We are a leading Multi-Disciplinary Civil Engineering company looking to recruit a Transportation Engineer within our Roadway Department to join our team in either our Detroit or Lansing offices We are a company dedicated to creating innovative transportation solutions that will help to make our roads safer and more efficient. Responsibilities:
- Develop horizontal and vertical alignments
- Perform superelevation design
- Develop design plans for roadway projects
- Prepare cost estimates for roadway projects
- Conduct field surveys to gather data for roadway projects
- Prepare technical reports and proposals
- Provide technical support to other team members
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to solve complex problems
Skills:
- PE preferred
- Proficient in software such as OpenRoads, MicroStation, InRoads
- 5+ years of experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
