The successful candidate will have experience in designing and managing transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways and highways. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and monitor project progress.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Prepare and review technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
- Participate in public meetings and stakeholder consultations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- PE license is ideal
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation).
