Position Overview:
As a Transportation Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of transportation projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze transportation systems, including roadways, intersections, and traffic control measures.
- Conduct traffic studies and modeling to evaluate current and future transportation needs.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports for various projects.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure project compliance and success.
- Assist in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Stay current with transportation engineering trends, technologies, and regulations.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and interns in their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (required).
- 3-12 years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of transportation design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) and traffic modeling tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
