Job Title: Transportation CAD Designer

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled CAD Designer with experience in transportation projects to join their team in San Antonio or Dallas. In this role, you will produce detailed drawings and plans for transportation infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate and high-quality designs that meet client expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update CAD drawings for transportation projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
- Prepare plan sets, profiles, alignments, and other design components for roadways, intersections, and transit systems.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other designers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review and revise designs for accuracy, compliance, and constructability.
- Organize project documentation and maintain design standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
- 2+ years of experience in transportation or civil engineering projects.
- Knowledge of TxDOT standards and guidelines is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Associate's degree or certification in drafting, CAD design, or a related field (preferred).
