A municipal utility company based outside of the greater Orlando region, is looking for a Transmission Line and Distribution Engineering Supervisor to join their team! The T&D Engineering Supervisor will focus on reliability, sustainability, infrastructure improvements, and customer satisfaction, aiming to deliver affordable services while maintaining environmental responsibility. They are looking for a stellar candidate with strong management skills, to work closely with their team and oversee their transmission line and distribution engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and guidance to the Electric Transmission and Distribution Division.
- Oversee employee scheduling, performance appraisals, development, and a positive work environment.
- Manage department budgets and ensure all operations stay within approved financial plans.
- Supervise work activities in electric operations, including technical support and cost estimates for maintenance repair.
- Conduct work-site visits to ensure safety protocols and efficient productivity are followed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in electric utility transmission and distribution operations.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of electric transmission, power line construction, and industry safety programs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
