They're looking to bring on a Traffic Section Head to oversee their traffic division in South Carolina. This role can sit out of either Charleston, SC or Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate would function as a technical leader and play a role in business development to build new market opportunities and further develop existing opportunities. You'll have strong knowledge across traffic engineering within all aspects from design, analysis, and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Work with office managers and practice leaders to form growth strategies and plans
- Marketing and business development in South Carolina to further establish and grow presence
- Manage financial budgets for departments
- Perform interviews and hiring for the traffic team
- Function as technical expert for project managers and other technical staff
Requirements:
- 10+ Years of experience in traffic engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- PE license in South Carolina
- Knowledge of policies, practices, and publications of SCDOT
- SCDOT project experience
Preferred:
- PTOE license
- Experience with multiple traffic analysis and simulation modeling softwares

- Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 + strong bonus structure
