LVI Associates is currently partnering with a 100% employee owned regional firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA looking to bring on a Traffic Engineer to the team here in Atlanta. The firm is in growth mode with an equally expanding backlog, eager to continue building out their transportation team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop traffic and safety studies, including impact analyses, traffic forecasting, etc.
- Lead and assist in the development of traffic signal designs and ITS
- Thorough knowledge of GDOT and MUTCD protocols
- Collaborate with clients and public agencies
Key Qualifications:
- EIT license required (PE preferred)
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years minimum experience in traffic engineering
- Experience working on GDOT & local projects
- Proficient in MicroStation, OpenRoads, InRoads, Synchro, Vissim
