Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License for engineers or AICP Certification for planners (preferred, but not required).
- 10+ Years of professional experience in engineering or planning, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory/project management role.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in providing feedback, coaching, and team management.
- Ability to bring in new work, manage transportation projects in California, lead a team of engineers & planners, and perform technical quality assurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Group Lead Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver technical traffic engineering work across the state of California
- Mentor/Train Junior, Mid-Level and Senior level staff across Project Management
- Collaborate with different business unit leaders across California and other regions
- Attract and retain traffic engineering talent
