While this specific role is targeted to be housed out of their Hartford, CT office- they're open to any of their 9 locations across New England as well. The Traffic Engineering Department Lead will be responsible for:
- Oversee the development of traffic staff including workloads, training, and career planning
- Create a challenging professional environment of innovation, opportunity, development, and continuous improvement for the staff focused on staff growth and succession planning
- Lead the execution of current and future traffic engineering projects
- Serve as Traffic Discipline Lead on pursuits and opportunities
The Traffic Engineering Department Lead should have the following qualifications:
- Civil Engineering degree, PE required, PTOE preferred
- 15+ yrs related experience
- Signal design, traffic impact studies, overall knowledge of Vissim, Synchro, Microstation
- Existing relationships with public entities is a plus
- Ability to foster business development relationships
