Join Our Regional Client's Expanding Team as a Traffic Engineer!
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated and skilled Traffic Engineer to join our client's growing team. This role is based in the vibrant city of Detroit, MI and offers a hybrid work setting. You will assist the traffic manager with various projects focusing on transportation engineering solutions that improve safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Traffic Engineering Manager with day-to-day tasks.
- Analyze traffic data and contribute to transport studies.
- Collaborate within project teams effectively while being self-directed on task completion.
Necessary Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering required
- EIT (Engineer in Training) certification or Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred
- Experience within industry preferred
- MicroStation/Synchro/VISSIM Software Proficiency or familiarity preferred
- Strong Communication Abilities: Effective exchange of ideas/information ensures smooth operations
- Professional Technical Writing: Prepare clear reports/documentation supporting engineering decisions/tasks
Benefits:
- Base salary - $65,000 - $90,000 (based on experience)
