Traffic Analysis Project Engineer in Delaware!
Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Traffic Analysis Project Engineer to join their team based in Wilmington, Delaware. As part of this exciting role, you will be responsible for conducting transportation safety studies, planning transportation projects, and analyzing traffic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct various traffic engineering studies, such as those focused on transportation safety, planning, and traffic operations.
-Undertake projects of varying scales, from small rural intersections to complex urban networks and freeway systems.
-Utilize tools like Synchro and SimTraffic for planning, analysis, and visualization of traffic projects.
-Create signal timing plans for intersections and corridors, and design traffic control devices including signals, signage, markings, temporary controls, lighting, and Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS).
-Conduct operational analyses and impact studies for government agencies. Demonstrate proficiency in traffic engineering principles and possess strong technical writing abilities.
Qualifications Required:
- 4-8 years of experience in traffic analysis or design
-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
-PE Licensed in Delaware
-PTOE is a plus
