Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Lead to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. As the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar, wind, battery storage, or related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical aspects of renewable energy projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and risk analyses for renewable energy projects, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for renewable energy challenges, driving continuous improvement and technological advancements.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in renewable energy technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team to enhance capabilities and competitiveness.
- Engage with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to communicate technical requirements, resolve issues, and foster strong relationships.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the renewable energy industry, with demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: solar, wind, battery storage, or related technologies.
- Proven track record of leading successful renewable energy projects from conception to completion, with a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge of renewable energy systems, including design, implementation, and optimization.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving project goals.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
