About the Position: Our client, A multinational company at the forefront of the solar industry, driving innovation and sustainability. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Director to join their team and lead their solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish relationships with new equipment suppliers and vendors in the solar industry (modules, PCS, racking, SCADA, cables, substations, MV stations, etc.).
- Maintain and strengthen established relationships with suppliers and vendors in the solar industry.
- Keep up-to-date with market knowledge and intelligence for both the global and domestic solar industry.
- Negotiate commercial matters, including EPC and OM contractual prices, ensuring the best terms for the company.
- Expand networking with EPC, engineering consultants, and OM providers.
- Manage Technical Due Diligence internally and with external parties such as LTA (Lender Technical Advisors).
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of solar industry dynamics.
- Lead best design practices for solar projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the solar industry or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills..
- Experience in managing technical due diligence and external advisors.
- Fluent in Both English and Japanese
