Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Superintendent to oversee wood-frame multifamily construction projects in the Orlando area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily on-site construction activities for multifamily wood-frame projects.
Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Supervise subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Manage materials, equipment, and workforce to optimize site productivity.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders.
Identify and resolve any construction-related issues or delays proactively.
Enforce job site safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
Keep accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, inspections, and incidents.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in wood-frame multifamily construction (condos, apartments, town homes).
Strong knowledge of wood-frame construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.
Proven ability to manage large-scale residential projects from start to completion.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
OSHA certification and knowledge of safety best practices.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Orlando area as needed.
