Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent to oversee education and tilt-wall construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site supervision, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in managing complex construction schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily on-site construction activities for education and tilt-wall projects.
Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met while maintaining quality control.
Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient work flow.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders for seamless execution.
Manage materials, equipment, and workforce to optimize site productivity.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with project teams and stakeholders.
Identify and resolve construction-related issues proactively.
Enforce job site safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
Keep accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, inspections, and incidents.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in education and tilt-wall construction.
Strong knowledge of tilt-wall construction techniques, scheduling, and safety regulations.
Proven ability to manage large-scale education or commercial projects from start to completion.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
OSHA certification and knowledge of safety best practices.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Orlando area as needed.
