Job Description:
LVI Associates are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our clients Structural Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or structural engineering, with a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects. This role requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Design and Analysis: Perform detailed engineering design and analysis for various civil and structural projects, including buildings, bridges, and infrastructure.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of engineering excellence.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve engineering issues and challenges promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in civil or structural engineering.
- Skills:
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
