Job Title: Structural Engineering Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure the successful delivery of building design projects.
- Structural Engineering: Provide technical guidance and expertise in structural engineering to support project design and execution.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and designers to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Client Communication: Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, addressing their needs and concerns, and ensuring project objectives align with their expectations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all building designs meet relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks, including those related to structural integrity and construction challenges.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to monitor the progress and quality of project work.
- Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project financials, manage project costs, and seek opportunities for cost-saving measures.
- Construction Oversight: Oversee construction activities, collaborate with contractors, and address any structural issues that may arise during the construction phase.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design drawings, reports, and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in structural engineering.
- Proven experience in project management, specifically in building design and construction.
- In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in structural design software and tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, or similar.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and schedules effectively.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
