My client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Nashville team, specializing in the design of structural elements for diverse projects such as manufacturing facilities, data centers, commercial properties, and more. The role focuses on the Telecom sector and involves managing project life cycles, mentoring team members, and maintaining high-quality standards.
My client is a growing Structural Engineering Consulting firm with a long-standing track record of excellence in niche markets in the Southeast. With offices in various cities, they offer a wide range of projects from site inspections to full-scale facility designs, covering all stages including feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed design, and construction administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design and delivery of structural systems, particularly in telecom.
Serve as primary client contact, ensuring project alignment.
Mentor junior staff and ensure high-quality work.
Conduct design calculations, review drawings, perform site inspections, and prepare RFIs.
Coordinate with teams to deliver timely, high-quality results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering with 8-15 years of experience, including 3 years in telecom.
PE license and seismic design experience.
Proficient in structural design using various materials and industry-standard software.
Strong project management and client relationship skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
