Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with concrete tilt-up projects and a passion for creating structural designs that meet both functional and aesthetic goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structural systems with a focus on concrete tilt-up construction.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
- Perform site visits to assess project progress and provide field support as needed.
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
- Stay current on relevant codes, standards, and best practices in structural engineering.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California or ability to obtain licensure within 12 months.
- 4-7 years of experience in structural engineering, with significant experience in concrete tilt-up projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or RISA-3D.
- Strong understanding of California Building Code, ACI, and other relevant design standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
