Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and review structural design calculations and models for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide innovative engineering solutions.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of all phases.
- Conduct field inspections and assessments of existing structures, providing recommendations for repairs and improvements.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and design staff.
- Review and approve vendor submittals, drawings, and calculations as required by the project scope.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, materials, and industry trends in structural engineering.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities and expanding service offerings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- PE Licensing
- 8-10 years of experience in design & structural engineering
- Strong understanding of structural design principles, codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, RISA) and AutoCAD or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
