Position Overview
- Collaborate internally with engineers, drafters, and design teams to ensure project success.
- Attend meetings with clients and design teams, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Contribute to broader design efforts by completing specific tasks.
- Assist in the design of buildings of various sizes, uses, and complexities.
- Work under the guidance of senior team members.
- Develop construction drawings and structural systems using diverse materials.
- Prepare calculations to support structural designs.
- Participate in construction administration, coordinate with contractors, conduct site visits, review shop drawings, and respond to RFIs.
- Perform feasibility studies and condition assessments.
- Establish project budgets and track costs to maintain profitability.
- Monitor project schedules to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
- Review and ensure quality assurance for deliverables.
- Assist with drafting proposals and reviewing contracts.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
- F.E. Certification (preferred).
- Relevant knowledge in materiality, including steel and concrete.
- Strong communication and writing skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
