Position Overview:
We're looking for a Structural Drafter to create detailed drawings for a variety of projects, including commercial, educational, and residential buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Project Engineers to ensure designs are accurate
- Create and update structural drawings
- Make sure design changes are added to the models and plans
- Alert the Principal in Charge of any design issues
- Coordinate with Architects and the Design Team
- Follow quality standards for all company drawings
- Stay involved in project coordination
- Keep project files organized
- Meet project deadlines
- Work with the BIM Manager to keep processes up to date
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Structural or Architectural Drafter
- Proficient in Revit
- Experience with AutoCA and Tekla is a plus
- Ability to create drawings that meet standards and client needs
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
- Multitasker
