Job Summary: Senior Environmental/Civil Engineer (Stormwater Design)
We are seeking a Senior Environmental/Civil Engineer with expertise in stormwater design and management. This role involves leading stormwater permitting, design, and construction projects, including environmental compliance, stormwater modeling, and regulatory analysis. The ideal candidate will combine technical project work with some business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead stormwater design and permitting projects, including environmental compliance and modeling.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and design calculations.
- Analyze reports, maps, and environmental data to support project advancement.
- Manage projects, interact with clients and regulatory agencies, and serve as a client representative.
- Mentor and oversee junior staff.
- Provide internal quality assurance for stormwater design projects.
- Present technical expertise at conferences and industry events.
Qualifications:
- 8-15+ years of experience in stormwater design and permitting.
- Strong knowledge of stormwater regulations and erosion control guidelines.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to client needs.
- Business development experience and ability to grow client relationships.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $100,000 - $160,000, based on experience and location.
