Salary: $84,000 - $96,000 dependent on experience, education, and other factors

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Project Environmental Engineers with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in environmental engineering with experience assisting on projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for environmental protection, a strong technical background, and a proven track record of assisting in successful project execution. As a Project Environmental Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing a variety of environmental projects, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Proficient in designing field programs and managing projects and associated field activities - scheduling, coordination of tasks, budgeting, subcontractor negotiating/management.
- Remediation: Experience planning, coordinating, and managing the field implementation of common remedial technologies/approaches designed by Senior/Principal level professionals and supporting Senior/Principal level professionals with conceptual and detailed remedial design work.
- Environmental Assessments: Conduct environmental impact assessments, site investigations, and feasibility studies to evaluate potential environmental risks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to all relevant environmental regulations and permit requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, geologists, and regulatory experts, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Apply your expertise in environmental engineering to design and implement innovative solutions that address complex environmental challenges.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive project reports, environmental impact statements, and documentation for regulatory submissions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in environmental engineering.
- EIT license required (PE license preferred).
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Experience assisting in project management with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
