Job Title: *HYBRID* Mid-Level Environmental Scientist or Geologist
Location: Los Angeles, California
Salary: $90,000-$110,000

As a Mid-Level Environmental Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that contribute to the protection and preservation of Southern California's unique ecosystems.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Level Environmental Scientist to join our Client's team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in conducting environmental assessments, field studies, and data analysis. You will collaborate with a talented group of professionals and contribute to the development of sustainable solutions for our clients' projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and studies.
- Perform Phase I and II environmental assessments and testing following ASTM standards
- Multi-media sampling (soil, soil vapor, groundwater, indoor air, methane, surface water, sediment, etc.)
- Lithological boring and log preparation
- Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports.
- Evaluate and interpret relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide environmental expertise.
- Assist in permitting and compliance efforts for various projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes in California (CEQA/NEPA)
- Proficiency in environmental modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local ecosystems and environmental issues in Los Angeles is a plus.
- HAZWOPER Training completed and up to date
- Progress to professional certification (PE/PG) strongly preferred
