We have a current opportunity for a Senior Substation Relay Engineer on a permanent basis. This position is fully remote flexible, or offers a hybrid flexible schedule out of our St. Louis, Missouri office.
Job Description:
We are searching for a driven engineer that is excited about solving tough engineering problems with the ability to innovate using out-of-the-box thinking and new tools. Ideally the successful applicant will be responsible for independently & collaboratively solving substation engineering problems/projects for our clients. Typical projects will include transmission tower design, T&D line design, substation design, T&D studies, SCADA design, and system protection design & implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer License highly desired (but not required)
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Expertise in ANY core area listed below:
- T&D Substation Design
- SCADA Systems/Design
- System Protection (Relaying) Design
- Comfortable with AuoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools
