Are you an experienced roadway engineer seeking a challenging and rewarding role in transportation engineering? We are looking for a Senior Roadway Engineer to join our team in either Cincinnati or Dayton. In this role, you will lead innovative projects, provide technical expertise, and collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to improving transportation infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage roadway projects, including urban streets, highways, and intersection improvements.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Oversee preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation infrastructure.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate with public agencies, private clients, and project stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop junior staff members.
- Stay updated on the latest engineering standards, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio, or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in roadway design and project management.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of ODOT design standards and procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
