Their team in San Diego has a local leadership team responsible for all business direction and administrative decisions. The team has strong relationships with clients in private and public sector development, whom they service with civil, environmental, structural, geotechnical, and GIS specialists. While working on projects, civil engineers will gain exposure to these other aspects of the company's services improving your ability to manage and direct multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client needs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while delivering top-quality outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented environment.
- Address and resolve complex technical challenges, offering expert advice and support to project teams.
- Prepare detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to business development by assisting with project proposals, cost estimates, and client presentations to secure new projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- PE License in California (E.I.T. Acceptable with adequate years' experience)
- 5+ years of relevant project experience (private and/or public site civil development)
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
