This is not your typical AV Designer/Engineer role. You'll take on high-value projects ($5MM - $50MM+), collaborating with experts and delivering innovative AV systems tailored to each client's needs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in AV system design and deployment
- Assist clients in developing comprehensive AV solutions from concept to installation
- Lead construction design planning, consulting, and project lifecycle coordination
- Participate in system architecture development, cost-benefit analysis, equipment specifications, and cost estimation
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver validated, modern AV designs
- Conduct site surveys, meetings, and system commissioning at client locations
- Deliver formal client reports and documentation, requiring strong verbal and written communication
- Lead technical workshops and discussions with clients and stakeholders
- Identify and address challenges or concerns with project managers, continuously improving processes and deliverables
Required Qualifications
- CTS Certification (Required)
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (Preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in AV system design, consulting, or engineering
- Strong knowledge of AV technologies, including Crestron, QSC, Planar, NanoLumens, Jupiter, Christie, Digital Projections, AtlasIED (certifications a plus)
- Familiarity with infrastructure planning, low-voltage systems, and AV integration best practices
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a relevant field is a plus
- CTS-D certification is a plus
