A National, full-service architecture, engineering, and design firm is looking to grow their project management division due to their increasing project workload in the Pacific Northwest. Their architectural specialties lie across the Civic, Mixed Use, Public and Federal spaces. They are looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager in their Tacoma WA location that can integrate their clients, designers, and contractors. This Project Manger would be assigned to complex projects that have a rewarding impact on the company's goals and initiatives. This role requires a strong attention to detail, passion for teamwork, and a growth mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in design discussions, brainstorm ideas, and create drawings, models, and 3D imaging formats
- Guide non-licensed professionals and other team members in the design process and the production of technical documents
- Participate in project and client meetings to identify business development opportunities
- Oversee and manage project teams for medium to large-scale projects, with a focus on federal, DOD, and civic projects
Requirements:
- 10 to 15+ years in architecture, with a professional degree in architecture.
- PMI's PMP certification or a plan to obtain it within one year.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, SpecLink, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
- Thorough understanding of architectural specifications, building codes, life safety codes, and ADA requirements.
